Job Title: Retail Engagement Coordinator

Location: HomeGoods, Florence, KY, 41042

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time, Hourly Associate

Starting Pay Range: $14.50 to $15.00 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Promote a “Highly Satisfied” customer experience utilizing appropriate tools and resources
  • Drive customer loyalty through all programs and initiatives
  • Address customer concerns and issues promptly
  • Update Associates on current customer experience feedback, goals, and company initiatives
  • Utilize TJX approved training resources, protocols, and guides to provide training and mentoring to all Associates on Policies and Procedures
  • Provide ongoing recognition and constructive feedback on cashier performance
  • Maintain and monitor cash controls including change fund
  • Adhere to all labor laws and meal and break period policies
  • Assign registers and coordinate breaks, strategically planning to ensure optimized coverage at frontline and sales floor
  • Audit and approve all applicable paperwork
  • Maintain cleanliness, recovery, and organizational standards throughout the frontline
  • Monitor all frontline equipment, communicating issues to management
  • Execute and adhere to all Company directives
  • Maintain and uphold merchandising standards within the queue-line
  • Adhere to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention policies and procedures (e.g., merchandise ticketing, EAS tagging (if applicable), and coding standards)
  • Ensure proper and timely handling of damages and Mark out of Stock
  • Promote a risk-free environment by reporting to Store Management any type of safety hazard in the store
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Formal Education:

High School graduate or equivalent degree preferred

Minimum Job Skills Required:

  • Available to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to work as a team member
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to lift heavy merchandise with/without reasonable accommodations
  • Ability to train and provide direction to others
  • Ability to run a register/handle money
  • Must be able to handle confidential information with discretion

 

Minimum Experience Required:

Experience as a coordinator or previous retail/supervisory experience preferred
