Department: Store Operations

Principal Duties:

• Provide excellent customer service, utilizing the GREAT model for customer engagement and recovery.
• Address customer requests and complaints promptly and courteously.
• Communicate effectively with the management team regarding customer concerns.
• Operate cash registers, handle various payment methods, and maintain cash levels accurately.
• Comply with legal requirements for age-restricted product sales.
• Stock and replenish products, maintain cleanliness, and ensure proper execution of foodservice programs.
• Adhere to safety, security, and quality policies and procedures.
• Perform housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Complete assigned tasks as directed by store management.

Essential Functions:

• Ability to work well in a team and individually.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to learn and follow FSRA processes and procedures.
• Flexibility to work overtime and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Adherence to Wawa's Safety and Quality Assurance protocols.
• Physical capabilities including standing, walking, handling, reaching, and lifting up to 35 lbs.
• Must be at least 16 years old with reliable transportation and slip-resistant shoes.

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in food service or customer service is advantageous.
